PERSONAL DATA
- The administrator of personal data is the Hungarian Poster Association, Hungary, Budapest, 1089 Budapest, Villám utca 11.
- Participants of the competition can contact the administrator of personal data via the e-mail address: magyarplakat@magyarplakat.hu
- The purpose of personal data processing is participation in the international poster competition organized by the Hungarian Poster Association – pursuant to Article 6, section 1 a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), i.e. based on the consent of the person said data concerns.
- The personal data of competition participants will be made available to the entity organized the competition, i.e. the Hungarian Poster Association. In addition, personal data may be made available to legally authorized institutions to that extent and for those purposes ensuing from legal provisions. Personal data will not be made available to any other entities.
- Personal data will be stored for the period necessary to achieve the purposes indicated in Point 3 above, i.e. for a period of up to 3 years from the date the results of the competition are announced.
- Competition entrants have the following rights with regard to the processing of their personal data: the right to access their personal data, the right to make corrections to or delete their personal data or limit its processing, the right to object to its processing, and the right to transfer said personal data. Entrants may exercise the above rights by contacting the administrator of personal data in the manner specified in point 2. The scope of the above mentioned rights and the situations in which said rights can be exercised are defined by legal provisions. The possibility of exercising some of the above mentioned rights may be, inter alia, dependent on the legal basis for, purpose or method of processing the personal data. In view of the need to protect the personal data of persons exercising the above mentioned rights, their correct identification is necessary. In view of the above, the Hungarian Poster Association may demand persons requesting information to prove their identity.
- To the extent that consent has been granted for the processing of personal data, entrants are entitled to withdraw said consent. Revocation of the consent is without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing of personal data prior to withdrawal of consent.
- If it is found that the processing of personal data violates the provisions of an applicable law a complaint may be lodged with the supervisory body, i.e. the Chairman of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
- Provision of one’s personal data is voluntary, but necessary in order to participate in the competition. Failure to provide this data precludes participation in the competition.
- The Hungarian Poster Asociation will not make automated decisions with regard to the personal data provided. In addition, the Hungarian Poster Association does not plan to forward personal data to entities outside the EEA (European Economic Area).
