The Hungarian Poster Association is organizing PosterFest in Budapest for the fifth time.

The aim of this year’s event, consisting of a large-scale exhibition and accompanying events, is to celebrate poster art, to present the past and present of the genre, national and regional trends, and the role of the poster in the new visual culture.

The call is open for entries for works which have been considered outstanding over the past three
years and without thematic constraints.

Each applicant may submit up to 3 entries. Submissions will be judged by an international
award jury after the closing date.

The three best entries will receive a prize.

The posters judged by the jury to be the most outstanding will be exhibited alongside the winning entries and will be on display at the Vigadó in Budapest from 2 April 2027 – 23 April 2027.

Technical requirements for uploading entries: Size: 70×100 cm, only vertical format, 25 MB, CMYK. Minimum resolution: 150 DPI. Possible file formats (with 5 mm bleed and crop marks): composite pdf or jpg.

The list of the award jury will be published in 2027 on the official website of the event: www.posterfest.hu

Time for uploading the application: 1 September 2026 – midnight, 31 December 2026.

By submitting your material, you guarantee that all the images you submit are your own intellectual property. By submitting your work, you unconditionally agree that your work may be displayed, published, and reproduced at the Hungarian Poster Association and PosterFest Budapest exhibition, on its websites, online platforms, at events organized in cooperation with the Hungarian Poster Association and PosterFest Budapest, and as part of the marketing campaign promoting the event.
